Black Mountain

The best-known course in Hua Hin sits below a dark limestone ridge west of town. It has hosted Asian Tour events, is kept in tournament condition, and rewards accurate driving – fairways are framed by rocky creeks and native scrub. Book well ahead in high season. See Black Mountain for our transfer price.

Banyan and Pineapple Valley

Banyan is built on former pineapple farmland with long views to the Gulf and a polished clubhouse; it's a favourite for groups. Pineapple Valley, a little further inland, threads around lakes beneath the hills – among the most photogenic layouts in the area.

Royal Hua Hin

Opened in 1924 beside the railway station, this is Thailand's oldest golf course. It's short by modern standards but hilly, with small greens and a view over town from the upper holes. A round here is a piece of Thai golf history and easy to fit into a short stay.

Palm Hills, Sea Pines, Springfield and Majestic Creek

  • Palm Hills (north of town): undulating, scenic, and close to the centre – good for a relaxed afternoon round.
  • Sea Pines (south, near Khao Takiab): run by the army, flat and breezy beside the sea.
  • Springfield Royal (towards Cha-am): a Jack Nicklaus design with a mountain backdrop.
  • Majestic Creek: an inland course that is usually quieter and better value.

Booking tips

  • Green fees, caddie fees and cart rules are set by each club and change by season – check directly or through a golf agent.
  • Early morning tee times avoid the heat; many groups play one round a day and rest in the afternoon.
  • Two courses in one day is possible: Royal Hua Hin and Palm Hills are only about 15 minutes apart.
  • We can wait at the club or return at the end of your round – see golf transfers.
